Began his valuation career in 1980 whilst employed by the ASB Bank, rising to the position of Senior Valuer.

John is a Senior Member of the Property Institute and an Associate of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers.

He joined Sheldons in 1985, carrying out a range of valuations but he now specialises in residential assessments in the East Coast Bays, Sunnynook, Forrest Hill, Milford and Greenhithe areas.

His outside interests include running being a member of Calliope Athletic Harrier club, ski-ing and motor racing, driving a car signwritten with Sheldons name.
